We are a "Surfers Surf Shop" and have been in business for over 15 years headquartered in Shirley, Long Island, New York. For those of you who don't know, we are located in the middle of Long Island, NY and just minutes from Smith Point Park and our beautiful Fire Island National Seashore. We are determined to provide the best products & best available technology to our customers at the lowest cost possible. We understand that our success is only as good as our networking capacity and have built a solid foundation based upon selective partnering. Over the past 15 years we have successfully embraced ourselves with the industries finest and maintain a very strong business relationship with successful organizations such as:

Quiksilver, O'Neill, Ripcurl, Billagong, Dewey Weber, Surftechnicians, Channin, Channel Islands, Joel Tudor, Hawaiian Pro Designs, Stewart, Yater, BZ, Matt Kechele Surfboards, Hobie, Elemenohpee, Robert August, North Atlantic, Byrne, Velzy, Hansen, Rockaway Beach Surf Shop and a host of others.

Though partnering is important, our main focus will always be upon education and everything we do is intertwined and connected to learning. We pride ourselves upon providing the best solutions to our customers that has been a hidden trademark of our organization.

At the surf shop you will find an appealing atmosphere and we are one of the few shops that possess a couch and television for those who elect to hang out and talk about surfing. At the surf shop, you will find an appealing atmosphere and we are one of the few shops that possess a couch and television for those who elect to hang out and talk about surfing. This year, our theme is that of the 1960's Surf Shop and one with matted floor covering and a laid back island feeling. We like to see our customers enjoying our great music while soaking in the positive vibe that radiates from the many fine products and environment we offer.

We put a huge dent in our savings account as we have a line-up for Summer 2004 that is "Off-The-Chain!" We dedicated space this year to improve upon our communications and have an Information Board that is littered with many of those items that makeup this seasons line-up. We are meeting Summer 2004 with a Top-of-the-Line no Fluff attitude bringing you the best wave assault tools and related accessories at the lowest costs possible.

This year's big event is the Annual Rell Sunn Surfing Contest that will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at "Ditch Plains" located in the Village of Montauk, one of the most beautiful places in all of Long Island. This fund-raiser has been created for the Fight with Cancer and Woody's Surf Shop is proud to announce that we are a part of such a great event. This year, the Rell Sunn Surfing Contest will be linked with the Quiksilver Boat Crossing Tour thanks to Mr. Jim Kempton, event coordinator for Quiksilver.

Other events for Summer 2004 include the Annual North Atlantic Surfboard Company Video / Surfboard Raffle Night, Our Midnight Madness Sale, Body Boarding Video / Pizza Nights and our First Annual Hawaiian Luau too.

We pride ourselves on our Summer Surfing Clinics that have matured since our inception seven years ago. Last year we were hired by the Suffolk County Division of Parks and Recreation to provide Surfing Lessons and expect to secure a contract extension for the upcoming season. Last season was a huge success as we are focused on providing an alternative lifestyle for our community members.

This year's clinic fee is only $60.00. We welcome group/corporate participation during company events too and will be providing service this season to the infamous Quogue Field Club working with Ms. Donna La Sala.

We pride ourselves on our summer surfing clinics that have matured since our inception seven years ago. Finally, my name is Edmond Moke (Moses) Young, Jr. and I am responsible for Shop Operations and am proud to serve my community as the manager of such an exciting surf shop. I am a native of Hawaii and spent my first 21 years as a surf bum. I was always in trouble with my Mom so I decided to leave home at age 21 since I knew that in order to continue surfing, I needed a skill other than surfing. I operate the surf shop with my wife Carrie Jo whom I met on the Waikiki strip when we were both sixteen. Carrie and I lived in Hawaii for sometime as we enjoyed the beach scene.

I am a health physicist by trade yet I am back exploring my roots through the Sport of the Kings. My Dad was born and raised in the Valley of the Kings, Waipio Valley, on the Big Island of Hawaii, and there is an inherent responsibility through my blood that gives me the energy to take on such an important duty as the shop manager. It's a major responsibility yet I enjoy the challenge.

We spent 5 years in Oceanside, CA. and now here in Long Island for the past 6 years. We resided in sixteen cities across the Continental United States to include Canada. We raise three teenage girls whom help us at the shop: Kirsten Kanoelani 18, Nikita Kaleiokalani 15 and Tatianna Pi'ilani 12. Like Woody's Surf Shop, we too have forged great partnering relations over the years and maintain a huge network across the USA & Hawaii that we incorporate into our surf shop business plan.

I'd like to thank you for your time reading this note and wanted to make a pledge to our customers stating that we are focused on education and will always conduct ourselves in the name of the "Aloha Spirit!"

Me ka oia I o (with great sincerity)

Moke
